What data is included?
Our database includes over 1.3 million UK trade mark registrations sourced from the IPO bulk data release and the weekly Trade Marks Journal. This includes expired, dead, cancelled, surrendered, withdrawn, refused and newly published marks, with registration history back to 1878.
Can I register an expired trade mark?
An expired registration does not automatically mean the name is available. The former owner may have common law rights through continued use, or may restore the registration within the allowed period. We recommend seeking professional trademark advice before filing.
How often is the data updated?
The database is updated weekly from the IPO's Trade Marks Journal, which is published every Friday. New marks typically appear on our site within 24 hours of publication. The underlying dataset also includes the full IPO bulk data release.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
Is there an API rate limit?
Yes. The Standard API plan includes 5,000 requests per month and the Pro plan includes 50,000 requests per month. Limits reset on your billing anniversary date.
